James Rankin

Jim Rankin is married with three teenage daughters. Jim is a local man with strong roots in Weymouth and Dorchester. Qualified for more years than he cares to remember, Jim is currently based in our Dorchester office.  However, like all of us, he will see clients in either office and will travel to see clients if needed. He is a specialist in Child Care Law and all issues relating to children.  As a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, he is regularly instructed by parents, Children’s Guardians and Local Authorities to appear in the Family Proceedings Court, the County Court, and the High Court, in both public and private law cases. As an experienced advocate, he is also a valued member of the criminal team.
